Text Box: 2007 SUGGESTED PACKING LIST
We suggest that campers pack for approximately 10 days.
Jeans, shorts, and other long pants
T-shirts or short sleeve shirts
A white t-shirt for tie-dying
Long sleeve shirts or Sweatshirts
Underwear
Socks (you can’t pack too many)
Comfortable and study shoes (for hiking, sports, etc.)
An old pair of tennis shoes (for getting muddy)
Water shoes/Aqua socks (not flip flops – you need something that will hold on to your heel)
Pajamas or Sleepwear
Swimming Suit and/or gear (one piece or tankini)
Hat, cap or bandana (available at the camp store)
Washcloth, towels (one for swimming, one for bathing), and toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, nail clippers, sanitary supplies, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, etc.)
Deodorant (recommended for ages 10 & up – we’re very active!)
Sleeping Bag (for overnight tent trip) and/or sheets & blanket (twin size) 
Pillow
Optional: (for overnight tent trips) foam sleep pad and or backpack
Waterbottle (available at the camp store)
Raincoat or Poncho and a warm jacket
Flashlight and batteries
Letter writing materials (stamps are available at the camp store)
One nice outfit for an informal dance
Optional: Disposable camera/s (available at the camp store)
1” three ring binder filled with looseleaf paper, pens & pencils (for leadership workshops) - Please print name on it!
Laundry bag – marked with your full name (available at the camp store)

BE SURE ALL ITEMS ARE CLEARLY MARKED WITH YOUR NAME.
Camp Eagle Ridge is not responsible for lost or stolen items.  
Items left at camp will be donated to a local charity.
Campers staying more than one week will do laundry once a week.  Please do not send anything valuable or delicate – campers are responsible for bagging and checking their own laundry.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING: (we will be forced to confiscate)
Food, gum, candy or drink (they will attract critters to the cabin)
Radios, walkmen, boomboxes, CD’s, game boys or other electronic devices (we can’t be responsible for these items and they take away from the camp experience – all cabins do have music in them)
Cellular phones or pagers (they won’t work at camp anyway)
Weapons, including pocket knives
Over-the-counter medications (we have a fully stocked Health Center)  If a camper brings an over-the-counter medication to camp, it must be check in with our Health Manager upon arrival at camp.
Campers may be dismissed from camp if found possessing any of the following:  weapons, illegal drugs, alcohol or cigarettes.
