"I, of course, loved my days at CER and will never forget them, but I just had to send you this note to say that I have begun appreciating my time at camp in a whole new way. Your efforts to break down barriers between kids and establish a wonderful atmosphere of love and equality are beautifully designed and executed, and it is my sincere belief that if every child experienced such an environment, the world would be a much more incredible and loving place. What you have created at Camp Eagle Ridge is a fantastic place for children to reduce their prejudices and, not only that, but to LEARN to reduce other prejudices once they have moved on in their lives. You have touched the lives of thousands of people... not just the kids at camp, but also those who are treated more kindly and with more respect by kids who have learned these things at CER.

Alumni Weddings |
Congratulations to Lacy (Engen) and Scott Hultman on their wedding! Both Lacy and Scott worked at Camp Eagle Ridge. Lacy worked in the kitchen and Scott worked in maintenance. They married each other on August 21, 2010.
Also standing up in the wedding was Shane Engen, who also worked in maintenance at Camp Eagle Ridge.

On October 16, 2010, Andrea (Konitzer) married Andrew Whitman in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin!
Andrea was the counselor in Integrity for our youngest girls in 2002. Andrea is now teaching 5th grade in Waupaca, Wisconsin, where she also coaches 8th grade girls basketball and co-ed track. |
Congratulations to Adam and Alicia Mingare, who married on October 16, 2010 in Australia.
Adam was the boys counselor in Explorer in 2002. Adam and Alicia live in Sydney, Australia.

On August 20, 2010, Rebecca Fronczak married Joe Azagrodnik! Becca and Joe both graduated from UW-Madison. Joe has a degree in Meteorology and Becca has degrees in Elementary Education and History. They are currently living in Miami where Joe is pursuing a masters degree in Meteorology. Becca in looking forward to pursuing her masters in Art Therapy.

Lianna Earley and Dan Madigan announced their engagement this fall. They will be married on October 8, 2011 in Brunswick, Ohio.
Lianna was a counselor from 2002 - 2007. She is currently working as the graduate assistant to the Literacy Education department at Cleveland State where she is pursuing her Master's Degree in PreK - 3 Education. |
 Congratulations to Ashley Brabec and Jason Colvin! They were engaged on December 11th. Jason proposed at Tettegouche State Park on Shovel Point on the North Shore of Minnesota. Ashley has been a part of Camp Eagle Ridge since 1996. She was a camper, counselor and our C.I.T. and J.C. Director. Ashley now works for Minnesota Life College as their Leadership Coordinator/Program Instructor. Jason joined our staff in 2007 and now directs Friendship Ventures in Minnesota. They met at The Outdoor School in Texas. |
